The Bernard family brewery has opened a Visitor Centre
Come on over! For the beer, the food and the lookout tower. But mainly for a great mood.
We have been brewing Bernard beer for over 30 years — with a great deal of joy.
We built the Visitor Centre to share with you. We look forward to tapping fresh beer from the tank and offering you the perfect food to go with it. You can also go up the chimney to survey our beautiful region, or go down to the cellar and watch the brewery’s daily operations.
We’re on Jihlavská Street in Humpolec. For a place at the table in the beerhouse or a tour of the brewery, it’s better to call ahead of time — sometimes it’s pretty lively here. You can visit the shop and lookout tower anytime during opening hours.
Pivnice Na Štokách
We have Bernard on tap right from the brewery tank. And we cook honest meals from ingredients that are in season and ideally from the local area. We’re glad to welcome you, whether for a quick visit or a large family celebration.
Brewery tours
“Brewing is a craft. But when you’re doing what you love, and others love it too, maybe it’s also an art,” says Bernard’s head brewer Josef Vávra.
We invite you to view craftsmanship for yourself. It’s not a museum — we’ll guide you through the real operation, from the warmth of the brewhouse to the cold of the lager cellars.
Moreover, you can climb the brewery’s chimney and view our history of over 30 years in the exhibition area.
Brewery lookout tower
The Bernard brewery, the town of Humpolec and its magnificent surroundings in the heart of the Vysočina region will be in the palm of your hand. It’s 189 steps to the walkway around the brewery’s functioning chimney. And by the way, just for the hike, you get a small beer. Just present a marked chimney ticket in the beerhouse.
